​LovEnergy was founded by David Lovelady from working in clean energy space for many years.

​

 

Back in 2009 David became a first-time homeowner, after moving with his recently married wife from Liverpool England to New York.

​

 

One night in his new home David couldn't sleep, his head spinning with ideas of how make his home go green and save some $s to support a recently born baby boy. Applying his experience and knowledge in the clean energy energy industry his head was buzzing with all the different investment options he knew were available: do I do Solar what about insultation, those batteries are cool, but what are the costs, can I get incentives, what benefits do I get and when etc.

After an exhausting night with no clear investment decisions in mind, he realized he needs to do some analysis, and guess what he thought, "I bet I'm not the only one". This was the birth of another child, LovEnergy.

​

 

Fast forward to today and after many years working as a consultant, international trainer at Siemens and as a utility planner, operator, grid modernization and future grid strategist at National Grid, all in the customer distributed resources space. Plus, eight years of afterhours software development with support from the University of Albany and consulting services for several building owners. And now LovEnergy is open for business, helping building owners and others carefully navigate the complex world of clean energy to reduce emissions and bills and even earn.
